OK Ladies

First the BAD news - dont bother trawling around Photo Agency sites for pics of Jason from tonight, he arrived late.
The PR told us Jason would be last to arrive, running late around 8pm as he was presenting the 2nd from last award.

We - (9 of us inside) had shot all the other arrivals against the board or the Bafta mask and by 7-15pm theyd called
everyone in to the dinner to begin proceedings.

The other agency guys left to go home or file their photos.

I said could I hang around for Jason, but they were taking down the board to use upstairs for award winners pics and
the 2 Bafta masks were to be taken away too.

So as he was going to be arriving at the front entrance I ent outside to hopefully await him as I had an envelope of photos
of him and Emma and him and Viggo to give him.

But then the GOOD News.

No sooner than Jill and I (I managed to get Jill inside with me) had gone out to the front of the hotel, than the penultimate
arrival had turned up (Max Beesley, English actor). I stopped him and asked him to pose by the last remainming Bafta
mask which had stood outside the hotel.

And then just as I turned around Jason was getting out of a car. He walked up to me and shook my hand.

I told him we'd been told that he's not be here till 8pm, so I was glad he'd been early (7-30pm).

He said Emma had told him to hurry up and get ready or he'd be late and he'd forgotten what the time was. So hurriedly
-with the PR trying to get him inside quickly - I ask him to stop for a pic in front of the mask.

I asked him if it was true he was supposed to be doing a West End play later this year. He shruggd his shoulders and
said he hoped to but it really depended on his Harry Potter commitments. I'm guessing from his reactions that it's a 'possible'
rather than a 'probable' and he thinks that the HP filming might clash.

I said there were a lot of ladies hoping he was going to be 'treading the boards' cos they were planning another trip over to
see him. He said - you know they came over to New York to see me. I said yes thats why I'd asked him at the BAFTA
TV Awards if he was going to NY.

I said I was going to ask if theyd behaved themselves and he said.......(wait for it - dont blush girls) ....
"THEY WERE PERFECTLY LOVELY". He said they were always so well behaved and charming. And with that he said cheerio
and was ushered quickly inside.
